These License Terms & Software Terms (“Terms”) govern the use, copying, modification, distribution, and other use of software, products, services, and digital content developed or published by TechHavenStudios, including but not limited to HavenDOS, MorrowOS, and MorrowAI.

By downloading, installing, accessing, copying, modifying, or using any covered product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the applicable product.

1. DEFINITIONS

For these Terms:

“TechHavenStudios,” “we,” “us,” or “our” means the developer and publisher of the applicable software or service.

“Software” means HavenDOS, MorrowOS, MorrowAI, their source code, binaries, installers, libraries, documentation, tools, and related components, unless stated otherwise.

“Product” means any software, application, operating system, AI system, service, website feature, or digital product provided by TechHavenStudios.

“You” or “User” means the individual or organization using the Product.

“Third-Party Components” means software, libraries, code, models, datasets, services, or other components that are not owned by TechHavenStudios.

2. OWNERSHIP

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the Software and its original components are owned by or licensed to TechHavenStudios.

This includes, where applicable:

Source code

Object code and binaries

Executables

Installers

User interfaces

Logos and branding

Product names

Documentation

Original artwork

Original models and prompts

Configuration files

Website content

Other original intellectual property

These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Software to you.

You receive a license to use the Software, not ownership of the Software.

3. LICENSE GRANT

Subject to these Terms, TechHavenStudios grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the applicable Product.

Unless a separate license is provided with a specific version or component, you may:

Install the Software on devices you own or control.

Use the Software for personal purposes.

Use the Software for educational purposes.

Use the Software for internal development and testing.

Make reasonable backup copies for your own use.

Additional permissions may apply if a Product or component is explicitly released under an open-source license.

4. RESTRICTIONS

Unless explicitly permitted by the applicable license, you may not:

Sell the Software itself.

Redistribute proprietary builds of the Software.

Claim the Software or its original components as your own.

Remove copyright, trademark, or license notices.

Use TechHavenStudios branding to falsely imply endorsement.

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software where prohibited by applicable law.

Circumvent technical restrictions or licensing mechanisms.

Use the Software to create a substantially identical competing product based primarily on proprietary TechHavenStudios code.

Distribute modified versions of proprietary builds as official TechHavenStudios releases.

Nothing in these Terms prohibits activities that cannot legally be restricted under applicable law.

5. HAVENDOS

HavenDOS is an operating-system project developed by TechHavenStudios.

Unless a specific HavenDOS release contains a different license file, these Terms govern the use of the original TechHavenStudios components of HavenDOS.

You may install and use HavenDOS for personal, educational, development, and testing purposes.

You may create modifications for your own use.

Redistribution of modified HavenDOS builds is permitted only where the applicable HavenDOS release explicitly allows it or where the relevant components are covered by licenses permitting such redistribution.

Modified versions must not be presented as official HavenDOS releases.

If you redistribute a permitted modified version, you should clearly identify:

That the version has been modified.

The modifications made.

The original HavenDOS version on which it is based.

That TechHavenStudios does not necessarily support the modified version.

6. MORROWOS

MorrowOS is a separate operating-system/product project developed by TechHavenStudios.

The same general license principles in these Terms apply to MorrowOS unless a specific MorrowOS release includes separate licensing terms.

MorrowOS may contain third-party software or components with their own licenses.

Where a third-party license grants rights that are broader than these Terms, those rights remain applicable to the relevant component.

7. MORROWAI

MorrowAI is an artificial-intelligence product or system developed and/or provided by TechHavenStudios.

MorrowAI may generate text, code, images, data, or other content depending on the version and functionality available.

AI-generated output may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or inappropriate results.

You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it.

MorrowAI must not be treated as a guaranteed source of factual, legal, financial, medical, safety-critical, or other professional advice.

Where MorrowAI uses third-party models, APIs, datasets, or services, their respective terms and licenses may also apply.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of MorrowAI and its output complies with applicable law and third-party rights.

8. OPEN-SOURCE COMPONENTS

Some Products may contain open-source software.

Open-source components are governed by their respective licenses, including licenses such as:

MIT License

Apache License 2.0

GNU General Public License

GNU Lesser General Public License

BSD licenses

Other applicable open-source licenses

Where an open-source license conflicts with these Terms, the applicable open-source license controls the rights and obligations relating to that specific component.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights granted to you by an applicable open-source license.

A list of third-party components and their licenses may be provided with the relevant Product.

9. MODIFICATIONS

You may modify Software when the applicable license permits modification.

Modified software is your responsibility.

TechHavenStudios is not responsible for:

Bugs introduced by modifications.

Data loss caused by modified software.

Security problems caused by modifications.

Hardware damage caused by modified software.

Compatibility problems.

Loss of functionality.

A modified version must not be represented as an official TechHavenStudios release unless TechHavenStudios has explicitly authorized this.

10. REDISTRIBUTION

Redistribution is allowed only to the extent permitted by the applicable Product license.

If redistribution is permitted, you must retain applicable:

Copyright notices

License notices

Attribution requirements

Third-party license notices

You may not imply that TechHavenStudios officially supports, sponsors, or endorses a redistributed or modified version unless explicitly authorized.

11. TRADEMARKS AND BRANDING

“HavenDOS,” “MorrowOS,” “MorrowAI,” “TechHavenStudios,” and associated logos or branding may constitute trademarks or protected branding.

The software license does not automatically grant permission to use these names or logos as trademarks.

You may refer to the names for purposes such as compatibility, documentation, discussion, review, or attribution, provided that you do not falsely imply official endorsement.

12. SECURITY RESEARCH

TechHavenStudios does not prohibit good-faith security research, testing, vulnerability discovery, or responsible disclosure where such activity is lawful.

Security researchers should avoid:

Accessing data that does not belong to them.

Disrupting services or systems.

Destroying data.

Performing unnecessary denial-of-service attacks.

Exploiting vulnerabilities against systems without authorization.

Security vulnerabilities should preferably be reported to TechHavenStudios through the designated security contact or reporting method provided on the official website.

13. UPDATES

TechHavenStudios may release updates, patches, new versions, or security fixes.

Updates may:

Add features.

Remove features.

Change functionality.

Fix bugs.

Improve security.

Change system requirements.

Change compatibility.

TechHavenStudios does not guarantee that every Product will receive updates indefinitely.

14. EXPERIMENTAL SOFTWARE

Some Products, features, builds, or releases may be experimental, development, beta, alpha, preview, or otherwise unfinished.

Experimental software may contain significant bugs or security issues.

You should not rely on experimental software for critical systems or irreplaceable data unless you accept those risks.

15. DATA AND PRIVACY

The collection and processing of personal information, if any, is governed by the applicable Privacy Policy.

Products may operate locally without transmitting information to TechHavenStudios. However, this may differ between Products and versions.

Third-party services integrated into a Product may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

16. NO WARRANTY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

TechHavenStudios does not guarantee that the Software will:

Be completely error-free.

Always be available.

Work on every device.

Be compatible with every configuration.

Meet every individual requirement.

Be free from security vulnerabilities.

Remain unchanged.

Always produce accurate results.

17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TechHavenStudios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software.

This may include, where legally permitted:

Loss of data.

Loss of profits.

Loss of business.

Hardware damage.

Service interruption.

Security incidents.

Loss resulting from inaccurate AI output.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. USER RESPONSIBILITY

You are responsible for:

Maintaining backups of important data.

Using the Software lawfully.

Reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it.

Installing Software only on systems you are authorized to use.

Complying with applicable third-party licenses.

Maintaining appropriate security practices.

19. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Products may interact with third-party services, APIs, libraries, operating systems, hardware, or other software.

TechHavenStudios does not necessarily control these third-party services.

Changes or interruptions to third-party services may affect Product functionality.

Third-party services may have separate terms and privacy policies.

20. TERMINATION

This license automatically terminates if you materially violate these Terms.

Upon termination, you must stop using and, where applicable, delete copies of proprietary Software that you are no longer authorized to use.

Rights granted by applicable open-source licenses remain governed by those licenses.

21. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

TechHavenStudios may update these Terms when necessary.

The version applicable to a particular Product may be identified by its publication date or version number.

Continued use of a Product after an updated version of these Terms becomes applicable may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms where legally permitted.

22. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

23. GOVERNING LAW

Unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to TechHavenStudios.

Disputes will be handled by the courts having appropriate jurisdiction under applicable law.

24. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with any Product-specific license, third-party licenses, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, or other documents expressly incorporated into them, constitute the applicable agreement concerning the use of the relevant Product.

If a Product-specific license conflicts with these general Terms, the Product-specific license takes precedence for that Product.

MorrowOS: TechHavenStudios license terms apply to original proprietary components.

MorrowAI: TechHavenStudios license terms apply to the MorrowAI software/service and original components, while third-party models, APIs, datasets, and services remain subject to their respective licenses.

Third-party and open-source components retain their respective licenses.
